Pay Per Message Billing Plan for IoT Assets

Digital Matter has announced a new “pay per message” billing plan on the Telematics Guru platform.

The TG-PPM billing plan allows assets to be added to the TG platform at a reduced price point, while still being able to access the full functionality of Telematics Guru Classic, including features like Live Tracking, the Mobile Apps, History, Alerting, Reporting, Preventive Maintenance and more.

The new pricing includes a base cost per asset on the plan plus a charge per 1,000 messages sent by the assets. Messages are pooled across all of the Reseller Partner’s TG-PPM assets. By using Digital Matter’s online web-based device management platform “OEM Server” Resellers can easily update and configure devices over-the-air, allowing them to be set to report in as often or as infrequently as needed, or even to do movement-based reporting.

The TG-PPM billing plan replaces the existing TG-4 and TG-24 plans, with the benefit of better flexibility, pooling of messages across assets, no penalty for excess usage, and lower overall costs. Resellers can easily set the billing plan for the assets in Telematics Guru, with invoicing done on a post-paid basis.
