The SensorNode Bluetooth® is a battery powered, Bluetooth enabled sensor device that interfaces to a range of sensors and inputs.

The SensorNode Bluetooth wirelessly transmits its data to other Bluetooth enabled devices.
It is designed to be paired with other Bluetooth enabled devices in the Digital Matter range such as the Remora2, as well as the upcoming G120 and Eagle. 

A pending app update will allow mobile phones installed with the Telematics Guru App to receive data from the SensorNode and report it to the server. 

The ubiquitousness of Bluetooth leads to an array of exciting potential applications. The SensorNode is able to be integrated into 3rd platforms or apps if desired. Contact us today for more information about 3rd party support.


How does it operate?

The SensorNode Bluetooth can be easily attached to whatever you would like to monitor. It can be hardwired to permanent power, or powered by 3 x AA batteries if power is not available. It will last for up to 4 years on just a single set of batteries!

The SensorNode will send a beacon with its data every few seconds, and 'Bluetooth Gateway' devices like the Remora2, or even a moblie phone will receive data when they are within range. 

The SensorNode is low cost and many can be placed around an area, with a single, relatively more expensive Bluetooth Gateway device acting as the conduit to pass their data to the server. This enables a low cost monitoring solution.

    Low-profile IP67 rugged housing

    The IP67 rated housing is made of sturdy ABS/Polycarbonate plastic to survive bumps and knocks and to survive many years in the sun and weather. It is low-profile and caters for a number of cable glands to allow for waterproof cable entry to the housing. The housing screws together for easy assembly, and has convenient mounting tabs.

    4-6 V Line Power enables the SensorNode to be powered by a USB 5V wall socket if permanently installed in a location with power.

    3 x AA 1.5V Batteries - Alkaline or Lithium, user replaceable and readily available.

    Up to 4 years battery life with Lithium, 3 years Alkaline

    *Power not internally switched, only one power input (battery or line) can be used at a time
