Yabby WiFi goes to MWC

Digital Matter

Our sales team is enjoying the buzz of MWC and meeting many existing and new clients. If you’re attending find us at the LoRa Alliance Stand in Hall 8.

Andre is carrying the new Yabby WiFi device with a global roaming SIM. The device has a WiFi sniffer to detect nearby WiFi access points. It then uploads these over a cellular network. Our software Telematics Guru then uses the access points to put the device on the map. Read this news article for a more in-depth discussion of how it works.

This device is working on 2G. We’re seeing more 4G LTE-M and NB-IoT networks light up around the world, so soon we hope to roam on the newer technologies.
