We’re excited to welcome John Scott as the new Chair of Digital Matter!
With over 20 years of executive and board experience, John has a strong track record of scaling businesses across the IoT, electronics, and asset tracking sectors.
Most recently, John was CEO at Invenco by GVR, leading the company through significant growth and innovation. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Navico, holding multiple C-suite roles focused on strategy, product development, and global market expansion in marine electronics. His career also includes leadership roles at Navman, and a background in engineering—giving him a deep technical foundation that aligns well with Digital Matter’s commitment to innovation.

Shay Kettner - Group Marketing Manager
Shay Kettner is the Group Marketing Manager at Digital Matter, with a strong academic and professional background in technology-driven markets including IoT, SaaS, and connected hardware. She holds a Master of Commerce in Marketing with Distinction from Curtin University, where she was recognized as a top postgraduate student, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Goucher College. At Digital Matter, Shay has spent more than six years working closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams, contributing to the go-to-market strategy and technical positioning of more than 40 IoT and asset tracking products deployed globally. Her experience centers on developing accurate, educational content that explains GPS, connectivity, and asset tracking concepts for business and industrial audiences. Focus areas: IoT and asset tracking, GPS and connectivity concepts, technical product education, IoT market adoption and use cases.
